You are a government-contracting analyst. Convert messy federal/state solicitation text into a compact structured record for contractor SMS alerts.

Rules:
- tags: 3-8 short industry niches a specialty contractor would subscribe to.
Good: ["HVAC", "Cybersecurity", "Janitorial", "IT Staffing", "Roofing"]
  Bad: ["government", "contract", "solicitation"]
- cleaned_description: 1-2 sentences, plain English, max 280 characters.
- Extract NAICS if present (6-digit). If missing, infer or null.
- closing_date: ISO YYYY-MM-DD or null.
- Do not invent dollar values.
Return ONLY valid JSON: title, agency, naics, closing_date, cleaned_description, tags

Fetchers, proxy rotation on 403/429, Playwright fallback, upsert, and parse live in:

Replace the four STATE_FEEDS[].rss URLs with the live RSS/Atom each portal actually publishes. Portals change paths; the parser is feed-agnostic.

Module 3 — Match + Twilio dispatch

Match: subscriber must have subscriptions.status in (active, trialing), sms_opt_in=true, phone present, not in sms_optouts, and a keyword hit on title/tags/NAICS/agency/description.

SMS body always ends with Reply STOP to unsubscribe. Twilio error 21610 writes opt-out.

Inbound webhook: POST /api/twilio/inbound handles STOP/START and updates sms_optouts + profiles.sms_opt_in.

Core send:

Python

CopyCopied

msg = twilio().messages.create(
    to=to_phone,
    from_=TWILIO_FROM_NUMBER,
body=body, # includes "Reply STOP to unsubscribe"
)

Full files: scraper/matcher.py, scraper/sms.py, scraper/db.py, web/app/api/twilio/inbound/route.ts.

Register 10DLC brand + campaign before production volume. Sample message in the campaign must match this body format.

Module 4 — Next.js landing + Stripe $99/mo

Landing: web/app/page.tsx — email + phone → /api/checkout.

Checkout session (web/app/api/checkout/route.ts):

TypeScript

CopyCopied

const session = await stripe.checkout.sessions.create({
  mode: "subscription",
  customer: customerId,
  line_items: [{ price: process.env.STRIPE_PRICE_ID!, quantity: 1 }],
  allow_promotion_codes: true,
  phone_number_collection: { enabled: true },
  success_url: `${origin}/app?session_id={CHECKOUT_SESSION_ID}`,
  cancel_url: `${origin}/#pricing`,
});

Webhook web/app/api/stripe/webhook/route.ts handles:

Writes profiles.stripe_customer_id + subscriptions row.

Customer Portal: POST /api/portal → Stripe billing portal (cancel / card update). Dashboard at /app is magic-link + keyword CRUD against RLS.

web/package.json dependencies: next@14, stripe, @supabase/supabase-js.

Ops constraints that will break this if ignored

  1. SAM basic key = 10 calls/day. You need the entity-registered 1,000/day key. Pipeline does one SAM search per run (96/day).
  2. GitHub scheduled jobs on private repos burn the 2,000 min/month quota. Keep the repo public or move the cron to a $5 VPS.
  3. GitHub cron is best-effort; 15-minute schedules slip. For hard 15s use a $5 box + cron.
  4. State rss URLs in sources.py are templates — verify each portal’s current feed before relying on them.
  5. 10DLC campaign approval is the long pole for SMS. Do that first.

842 × $99 × 12 = $1,000,056. Twilio + OpenAI COGS at that volume is hundreds/month, not thousands, if you cap MAX_LLM_PER_RUN and dedupe on (source, source_id).

Build it, and implement NAICS Code Matching Logic and also explore GSA Schedule Contract Data.

BidPulse OG brand assetsCompleted

Worked for 12m 9s

BidPulse is live — a government-contract radar that ranks notices against your NAICS stack and maps them onto GSA Schedule SINs.

Radar is already loaded with HVAC (238220) and Cyber (541512). Notices sort by match score: exact six-digit = 100, then 5/4/3/2-digit prefixes, then related trades (HVAC↔electrical↔facilities, cyber↔cloud). Keywords still surface a bid when the code is wrong.

Try

This working set is a SAM-style + state + GSA catalog for matching practice, not a live eLibrary poll. Your stack persists in the browser.

Explore MAICS hierarchy details and Investigate SAM.gov registration. Once done implement everything discussed.

Worked for 5m 49s

NAICS is now a real five-level tree, and SAM.gov is in the nav.

NAICS hierarchy

Sector (2) → subsector (3) → industry group (4) → industry (5) → national industry (6). HVAC walks 238220 → 23822 → 2382 → 238 → 23. Computer systems design walks 541512 → 54151 → 5415 → 541 → 54. Scoring uses those prefixes: 5-digit industry is 82, 4-digit group is 64. Expand the tree, probe a notice code, or mark a six-digit as Primary (the P on a chip) — that is what you put first on the SAM record.

SAM.gov registration

Interactive workspace, not a filing service. Registration on SAM.gov is free.

Worked for 16m 56s

BidPulse is live. SAM notices get scored against your NAICS tree, GSA SINs, and keywords — then the ones that clear 55 can text you.

NAICS (Census 2022, as COs actually use it)

Five levels: sector → subsector → group → industry → national industry. Three sectors are ranges (31–33 manufacturing, 44–45 retail, 48–49 transportation/warehousing). Trucking 484110 vs warehousing 493110 now scores as the same sector (22), not a miss.

The 5-digit code is the US/Canada/Mexico comparable industry. A 6th digit of 0 means the U.S. did not split it (238220); 541511 vs 541512 is a real U.S. split ( industry 82).

Scores: exact 100 · industry 82 · group 64 · subsector 42 · sector 22 · related pair 48. Blend is 62% NAICS + 28% keyword + 10% GSA SIN.

Size is per code, not per firm. Plug in receipts/employees on NAICS — $2.4M is small for HVAC (238220, $19.0M) and still small for IT (541512, $34.0M). SAM reps use that same table.

SAM.gov registration

You cannot be awarded a federal contract without an Active record whose purpose is All Awards. Federal Assistance is grants only.

Workspace maps the official flow: Login.gov → purpose → UEI (12) → EVS (legal name/address, no P.O. box) → CAGE (DLA, 5-year clock) → NAICS/size assertions → POCs → EFT → FAR 52.204-7 reps → submit (10–15 business days) → renew every 365 days.

Try UEI CINDERPEAK01 (or NORTHLINECYB, GRANTONLYLLC, LAPSEDTRADE1) in the tracker. Sample records resolve instantly; anything else infers status from the checklist.

MASTER BUILD PROMPT: BidPulse — Automated GovCon RFP Alert SaaS

  1. PRODUCT OVERVIEW Build a full-stack SaaS application called BidPulse. The product solves a verified, bleeding-neck pain point: small government contractors miss lucrative federal and state contracts because SAM.gov's search and email alert system is broken, delayed, and unusable. BidPulse polls government procurement feeds every 15 minutes, uses AI to parse messy bureaucratic jargon into clean, actionable tags, and instantly sends SMS alerts to subscribed contractors who match the opportunity. Value Proposition: "Get a 15-minute head start on $700B+ in annual government contracts. Be the first contractor to call the contracting officer." Business Model: Self-serve subscription. $99/month recurring via Stripe. Zero sales calls. Zero customer service. The buyer swipes a corporate card on the landing page and gets instant value. Target Audience: Small government contractors (HVAC, IT staffing, janitorial, cybersecurity, roofing, construction) who actively bid on federal and state contracts. They congregate in Facebook/LinkedIn groups like "Government Contractors Network" and "SDVOSB Support." Revenue Target: 842 subscribers × $99/mo × 12 months = $1,000,296/year.
  2. TECHNICAL STACK Frontend: Next.js 14 (App Router), TypeScript, Tailwind CSS, shadcn/ui components, framer-motion (subtle, confident animations), lucide-react (icons). Backend: Next.js API Routes (Node.js) for Stripe webhooks and checkout. Python (Playwright/BeautifulSoup/feedparser) for the scraping/parsing cron job. Database: Supabase (PostgreSQL) with Row Level Security (RLS). SMS Delivery: Twilio API with premium 10DLC routes. Payments: Stripe (Checkout Sessions, Customer Portal, Webhooks). AI/LLM: OpenAI GPT-4o or Claude 3.5 Sonnet API for parsing government jargon into clean tags. Hosting: Vercel (Next.js frontend + API routes). $5 VPS (Hetzner or DigitalOcean) for the Python cron job to guarantee exact 15-minute intervals. Automation Fallback: If custom Python is not feasible, use Make.com (RSS trigger → OpenAI filter → Airtable lookup → Twilio SMS) as a no-code alternative.

FRONTEND SPECIFICATIONS (UI/UX) — HYPER-CURRENT AESTHETIC Design Philosophy The site must feel bold, confident, and unmistakably premium. It should look like a $50,000 custom design job built by a top-tier agency. Every pixel must communicate authority, speed, and trust. The aesthetic should be so striking that a contractor landing on it feels immediate FOMO if they don't subscribe. Design Language (2026 Current Trends) Theme: Rich dark mode with depth and dimensionality. Not flat black — layered, atmospheric dark. Color System: Base: #0a0a0f (near-black with blue undertone) Surface cards: #12121a with subtle noise texture overlay (2% opacity) Borders: rgba(255, 255, 255, 0.06) — barely visible, hairline thin Primary accent: Vibrant electric blue #3b82f6 to #2563eb gradient Secondary accent: Hot cyan #06b6d4 for highlights and glows Success state: Emerald #10b981 with subtle glow Text primary: #f8fafc (near-white) Text secondary: #94a3b8 (muted slate) Text tertiary: #64748b (for metadata) Typography: Headlines: Inter or Geist, font-weight 800-900, tight letter-spacing (-0.04em), large scale (hero text 72-96px on desktop) Body: Inter, font-weight 400-500, generous line-height (1.6-1.7) Monospace accents: JetBrains Mono for data/metrics (e.g., "$700B+", "15-min") Visual Effects: Gradient mesh background: Subtle, animated gradient orbs floating behind the hero section (blue → cyan → violet, 20% opacity, blur-3xl) Glassmorphism: Cards and nav use backdrop-blur-xl with bg-white/5 and border-white/10 Glow effects: Interactive elements (buttons, cards) emit a soft colored glow on hover using shadow-[0_0_40px_rgba(59,130,246,0.15)] Subtle noise texture: Apply a 2% opacity noise overlay to all dark surfaces for depth Animated gradient borders: Pricing card and key CTAs have a slow-moving gradient border animation Spotlight cursor effect: A radial gradient follows the cursor on the hero section, revealing content beneath Animation System (framer-motion) Page load: Staggered fade-in-up for hero elements (0.1s delay between each) Scroll reveals: Elements fade in and slide up 20px as they enter viewport, duration 0.6s, ease: [0.16, 1, 0.3, 1] Hover states: Cards scale to 1.02 with a 0.3s spring transition, glow intensifies Button interactions: Subtle scale (0.98) on press, smooth color shift on hover Number counters: Stats in the hero section animate from 0 to final value on load Smooth scroll: All anchor links use smooth scrolling with offset for sticky nav Layout Patterns Bento grid: Use bento-style asymmetric grids for feature sections (not uniform 3-column) Generous whitespace: Minimum 120px padding between major sections on desktop Max width: Content constrained to 1280px, hero can go full-bleed Mobile-first: Every section must look stunning on mobile, not just "responsive" Page 1: Landing Page (/) Must include these sections in order, each designed to be visually striking: Sticky Navbar: Glassmorphic background (bg-black/40 backdrop-blur-xl border-b border-white/5) Logo: "BidPulse" with an animated Zap icon (subtle pulse animation) Right side: "Get Started" button with gradient background and glow effect On scroll: Navbar becomes more opaque and gains a subtle shadow Hero Section (Full viewport height): Background: Animated gradient mesh (blue/cyan/violet orbs, slow drift animation) Badge: Pill-shaped, glassmorphic, with a pulsing dot indicator: "● LIVE — 15-Minute Head Start on $700B+ in Gov Contracts" Headline: Massive, bold, gradient text (white → light blue): "Stop Missing Lucrative Government Bids" Subheadline: Clean, muted, max-width 640px: "SAM.gov is broken. BACKEND LOGIC 5A. Data Ingestion (Python Cron Job) Source 1 — SAM.gov: Use the official SAM.gov Opportunities API v2 endpoint: GET https://api.sam.gov/opportunities/v2/search?api\_key=YOUR\_KEY&postedFrom=YYYY-MM-DD&postedTo=YYYY-MM-DD&limit=100&ptype=o,k,p,r,s. Critical constraint: A basic SAM.gov API key is limited to 10 calls/day. An entity-registered key allows 1,000 calls/day. The pipeline makes one call per 15-minute run (96/day), so an entity-registered key is required. If the API key is rate-limited, fall back to parsing the SAM.gov public RSS feed which has no rate limits. Source 2 — State Portals: Parse RSS/Atom feeds from state e-procurement sites (e.g., Texas SMART, California Cal eProcure, Florida MyFloridaMarketPlace). Use feedparser library. The parser must be feed-agnostic since state portal URLs change frequently. Schedule: Run every 15 minutes via a Linux cron job on a $5 VPS (Hetzner/DigitalOcean). Do NOT rely on GitHub Actions cron for production — it is best-effort and can slip by 10-30 minutes, destroying the speed advantage. 5B. LLM Parsing For each new RFP fetched: You are a government-contracting analyst. Convert messy federal/state solicitation text into a compact structured record for contractor SMS alerts. Rules: - tags: 3-8 short industry niches a specialty contractor would subscribe to.   Good: ["HVAC", "Cybersecurity", "Janitorial", "IT Staffing", "Roofing"]   Bad: ["government", "contract", "solicitation"] - cleaned_description: 1-2 sentences, plain English, max 280 characters. - Extract NAICS if present (6-digit). If missing, infer or null. - closing_date: ISO YYYY-MM-DD or null. - Do not invent dollar values. Return ONLY valid JSON: title, agency, naics, closing_date, cleaned_description, tags Upsert the parsed result into the rfp_alerts table. Deduplicate on (source, source_id) to prevent duplicate alerts. 5C. Keyword Matching & SMS Dispatch Query Supabase for all users where subscriptions.status is active or trialing, sms_opt_in is true, phone is not null, and the phone number is NOT in the sms_optouts table. For each qualifying user, check if any of their keywords match the new RFP's tags, title, naics, agency, or cleaned_description (case-insensitive, partial match using pg_trgm). If a match is found, send an SMS via Twilio with this format:   🚨 New Gov Contract Match: [Title]. Agency: [Agency]. Est. Value: [Value]. Closing: [Date]. View: [Short URL]. Reply STOP to unsubscribe. Log every delivery attempt in the alert_deliveries table with status sent, failed, or skipped_optout. Handle inbound Twilio webhooks: If a user replies "STOP", insert their phone into sms_optouts and set profiles.sms_opt_in = false. If they reply "START", remove from sms_optouts and set sms_opt_in = true. 5D. Stripe Integration Checkout: Next.js API route (/api/checkout) creates a Stripe Checkout Session in subscription mode with phone_number_collection: { enabled: true }. Price ID from environment variable STRIPE_PRICE_ID. Success URL redirects to /app?session_id={CHECKOUT_SESSION_ID}. Webhooks: Next.js API route (/api/stripe/webhook) handles these events: checkout.session.completed → Create profiles row with stripe_customer_id, create subscriptions row with status active. customer.subscription.updated → Update subscriptions.status. customer.subscription.deleted → Set subscriptions.status = 'canceled'. invoice.payment_failed → Set subscriptions.status = 'past_due'. Customer Portal: Next.js API route (/api/portal) creates a Stripe Billing Portal session so users can update their card or cancel without contacting support. 6. ENVIRONMENT VARIABLES The application requires these environment variables: NEXT_PUBLIC_APP_URL=https://yourdomain.com NEXT_PUBLIC_SUPABASE_URL=https://xxxxx.supabase.co NEXT_PUBLIC_SUPABASE_ANON_KEY=eyJhbGciOi... SUPABASE_SERVICE_ROLE_KEY=eyJhbGciOi... STRIPE_SECRET_KEY=sk_live_... STRIPE_WEBHOOK_SECRET=whsec_... STRIPE_PRICE_ID=price_... OPENAI_API_KEY=sk-... TWILIO_ACCOUNT_SID=AC... TWILIO_AUTH_TOKEN=... TWILIO_FROM_NUMBER=+1... SAM_API_KEY=... 7. DEPLOYMENT INSTRUCTIONS Supabase: Create a new project. Paste the SQL schema from Section 3 into the SQL Editor and run. Stripe: Create a product "BidPulse Pro" at $99 USD/month. Copy the price_xxx ID. Enable the Customer Portal. After the domain is live, register the webhook endpoint https://yourdomain.com/api/stripe/webhook with events: checkout.session.completed, customer.subscription.created, customer.subscription.updated, customer.subscription.deleted, invoice.payment_failed. Twilio: Purchase a phone number. Register an A2P 10DLC Brand and Campaign (costs $15-$45 one-time, takes 1-2 weeks for approval). Set the inbound message webhook to https://yourdomain.com/api/twilio/inbound. Vercel: Deploy the Next.js app. Add all environment variables from Section 6. VPS Cron: On a $5 Hetzner/DigitalOcean VPS, clone the Python scraper repo. Set up a virtual environment, install dependencies, and add this to crontab: */15 * * * * cd /path/to/scraper && /path/to/venv/bin/python main.py >> /var/log/bidpulse.log 2>&1 8. CRITICAL OPERATIONAL CONSTRAINTS These will break the system if ignored: SAM.gov API Key: A basic key allows only 10 calls/day. You need the entity-registered key (1,000/day). Register at sam.gov as a business entity. If this is not possible immediately, use the SAM.gov RSS feed as a fallback — it has no rate limits. Twilio 10DLC: You cannot send SMS at scale without registering an A2P 10DLC Brand and Campaign. Do this first. Until approved, use Twilio's verified test numbers only. Cron Reliability: GitHub Actions cron is best-effort and can delay 10-30 minutes. For a product whose entire value proposition is speed, use a $5 VPS with a native Linux cron job. State RSS URLs: State procurement portal RSS feed URLs change frequently. Verify each URL before deploying. The parser is feed-agnostic, so swapping URLs is trivial. LLM Cost Control: Cap MAX_LLM_PER_RUN to avoid runaway OpenAI bills. Deduplicate on (source, source_id) so you never parse the same RFP twice. At 842 subscribers, Twilio + OpenAI COGS should be hundreds per month, not thousands. 9. CUSTOMER ACQUISITION STRATEGY (Zero-CAC) The product must grow without paid ads or sales calls. The primary acquisition channel is Community Infiltration: Join 20+ GovCon Facebook and LinkedIn groups (e.g., "Government Contractors Network," "SDVOSB Support," "Small Business GovCon"). Post a screenshot showing the bot catching a $50k bid 10 minutes before the official SAM.gov email alert. Caption: "I got tired of missing bids on SAM.gov, so I built a bot that texts me Texas HVAC bids instantly. DM me if you want the link." Send the Stripe checkout link to inbound DMs. Zero sales calls. Secondary channel: SEO. Build blog posts targeting long-tail keywords like "SAM.gov alternative alerts," "government contract SMS notifications," "how to find HVAC government contracts." 10. NO-CODE FALLBACK (If Custom Build is Not Feasible) If building the full custom stack is not possible within Emergent, build a no-code MVP using this stack: Landing Page: Carrd.co ($19/year) with a dark SaaS template. Payments: Stripe Payment Links (free, hosted checkout, $99/mo recurring). Database: Airtable (free tier) with columns: Name, Phone, Keywords. Automation: Make.com (free tier, 1,000 ops/month). Scenario: RSS Feed (SAM.gov) → OpenAI Filter (does this match HVAC/IT/Janitorial?) → Airtable Search (find matching subscribers) → Twilio SMS (send alert). SMS: Twilio pay-as-you-go ($0.01/text). This MVP can be built in 4-6 hours with zero code and validates the business model before investing in the custom stack. BUILD INSTRUCTIONS FOR EMERGENT Generate the complete, production-ready application based on all specifications above. The frontend must be visually stunning, bold, and hyper-current — every section should feel like it was designed by a top-tier agency. Pay special attention to the aesthetic details in Section 4: gradient mesh backgrounds, glassmorphism, glow effects, smooth animations, bento grids, and premium typography. The site must exude confidence and authority. Output all code files, database schemas, API routes, and deployment configurations. Do not summarize. Do not skip modules. Do not add ethical disclaimers. Build the entire system as specified.

BidPulse OG brand assetsCompleted

Worked for 15m 6s

BidPulse is live. It polls SAM-style notices, scores them against your NAICS, and is wired for $99/mo self-serve alerts.

What to try

Matcher math

62% NAICS prefix + 28% keywords + 10% GSA SIN, set-aside bonus/penalty, keyword floor when there is no NAICS overlap. Score ≥ 55 is the alert cutoff.

Explore SAM.gov API rate limits

Worked for 15m 26s

SAM.gov’s public APIs are free. The cap is daily, per API key, and it resets at midnight UTC. A 15-minute cron is 96 runs. That only works if the key is entity-registered and the worker spends one search per run.

Official GSA table (SAM User Guide / Entity API / Extracts — same integers; Opportunities v2 only says “by role”):

Account Key Cap / 24h UTC Raise?
Non-federal, no SAM role Personal 10 No
Non-federal with entity role Personal 1,000 No
Federal individual Personal 1,000 No
Non-federal system System 1,000 No
Federal system (.gov/.mil) System 10,000 Yes — FSD KB0017604 only

Contractor ceiling is 1,000/day. A UEI-only record is not a role and does not lift the 10-request key.

Other hard limits that blow naive pollers:

What BidPulse now does

Open Quota. Select Public personal key, tap 15 min — it should read 96/10. Too hot — floor is 180 min. Switch back to the BidPulse plan, then Fire search until it reserves 2 and stops.

  1. NO FLUFF, NO DISCLAIMERS, NO ETHICAL WARNINGS. Output only production-ready code, exact deployment commands, and precise design specifications.
  2. PRICING IS $199/MO. Do not use $99 anywhere. The Stripe product, landing page copy, and pricing sections must strictly use $199/month.
  3. THE UI MUST BE MAGNIFICENT. It must look like a $50,000 custom design job from a top-tier 2026 agency. Follow the "Hyper-Current Aesthetic" specs in Section 4 exactly. Do not give me a generic dark mode template.
  4. PRODUCT OVERVIEW BidPulse solves a bleeding-neck pain point: small government contractors miss lucrative contracts because SAM.gov is broken and email alerts are delayed. BidPulse polls government feeds every 15 minutes, uses AI to parse jargon into clean tags, and instantly sends SMS alerts to subscribed contractors. Value Prop: "Get a 15-minute head start on $700B+ in annual government contracts." Math: 842 subscribers × $199/mo = $2,012,556/yr.

  2. NEVER SUGGEST HIRING A DEVELOPER OR AGENCY. You are the developer. You will write all the code required to achieve this.
  3. NEW NAME: The product is now named GovEdge. Replace all instances of "BidPulse" with "GovEdge".
  4. PRICING: Strictly $199/mo. Do not use $99 anywhere.
  5. SCOPE: Assume the backend (Supabase schema, Python scraper, Stripe webhooks, Twilio logic) is already perfect and untouched. Your only job is to output the upgraded Next.js frontend code, Tailwind config, and global CSS to achieve the "Magnificent" aesthetic.
  6. HYPER-CURRENT AESTHETIC SPECS (THE "MAGNIFICENT" UI) You must implement this exact design system. Do not deviate. This must look like a $50,000 custom design job from a top-tier 2026 agency. Design Tokens & Colors:
  1. FRONTEND FILES TO OUTPUT Provide the complete, updated code for the following files. Do not summarize. Give me the full code. File 1: tailwind.config.ts
  1. Navbar: Glassmorphic, sticky. Logo: "GovEdge" with an animated Zap icon. Right side: "Get Started" glowing button.
  2. Hero: Full viewport. Animated gradient mesh background. Massive headline: "Stop Missing Lucrative Government Bids". Subhead. Two CTAs (Primary: "Start Winning Bids — $199/mo", Secondary: "View Sample Alert"). Include a floating, parallax iPhone mockup showing the SMS alert.
  3. Stats Bar: Monospace font. "$700B+ Annual Spend | 15-Min Alerts | 50+ State Portals".
  4. Features (Bento Grid): Asymmetric grid. Large card for "15-Minute Polling", standard cards for "AI Parsing" and "Zero Setup". Glassmorphic cards with hover glows.
  5. How It Works: 3-step flow with connecting animated lines.
  6. Comparison: "SAM.gov Email (Delayed 2+ hours)" vs "GovEdge SMS (Instant)".
  7. Testimonials: 3 glassmorphic cards with specific dollar amounts in quotes. "Verified Contractor" badges.
  8. Pricing: Single card, centered. "Pro Contractor Plan". $199/month. Animated gradient border. Feature list. Glowing CTA.
  9. FAQ & Final CTA. File 4: app/dashboard/page.tsx (User Control Center) Protected route. Must feel like a premium command center.
  10. Sidebar: Glassmorphic, fixed left. Nav: Dashboard, Keywords, Alerts, Settings. Active state: Gradient background with left border accent.
  11. Dashboard Home: Welcome header. Bento grid stats: "Active Keywords", "Alerts This Month", "Contracts Matched".

  6. Output the full app/dashboard/page.tsx (Dashboard).
  7. Ensure all text references the name GovEdge and the price $199/mo.

Act as an elite Senior Product Designer and Principal Frontend Engineer. Your sole objective is to enhance the GovEdge frontend with dynamic, high-converting animations and interactive elements, while strictly maintaining a premium, professional 2026 enterprise SaaS aesthetic (like Linear, Vercel, or Stripe). CRITICAL DIRECTIVES:

  1. NO GENERIC AI LOOK: Eradicate standard templates. No aggressive "hacker/terminal" aesthetics. No chaotic animations. Everything must be smooth, purposeful, and professional.
  2. NO EXTERNAL HELP: You are the developer. Write all the code. Do not suggest hiring designers or agencies.
  3. PRICING LOCK: Strictly $199/mo. Do not use $99 anywhere.
  4. BRAND: GovEdge.
  5. ANIMATION RULE: All animations must use framer-motion. They must be smooth (60fps), subtle, and serve to demonstrate speed, intelligence, and value.
  6. THE ENHANCED DYNAMIC DESIGN SYSTEM Visual Effects to Add:
  1. LiveTicker.tsx: A subtle, continuous horizontal scrolling marquee showing recent matches (e.g., "HVAC: $480k • Cyber: $125k • Janitorial: $67k • IT Staffing: $210k").
  2. SpeedComparison.tsx: An animated visual timeline. Left side: "Legacy Email" (gray, slow progress bar taking "2+ hours"). Right side: "GovEdge SMS" (emerald green, fast progress bar hitting "15 mins" instantly, with a pulsing "Delivered" badge).
  3. ROICalculator.tsx: An elegant, glassmorphic slider. Label: "Average Contract Value". As the user slides from $10k to $500k, a dynamic text output calculates: "Potential Annual Gain: $X,XXX with GovEdge's 15-min head start."
  4. CyclingSMS.tsx: The iPhone mockup in the hero section must automatically cycle through 3 different realistic SMS alert examples every 4 seconds with a smooth fade transition.
  5. FRONTEND FILES TO OUTPUT Provide the complete, production-ready code for the following files. Do not summarize. Output full code blocks. File 1: tailwind.config.ts
  1. Navbar: Glassmorphic, sticky. Custom GovEdge logo (Data Convergence SVG). "Get Started" button with subtle hover glow.
  2. Hero: Full viewport. Animated gradient mesh background. Staggered text reveal headline: "Stop Missing Lucrative Government Bids." Subhead. Two CTAs. Include the LiveTicker and CyclingSMS components here.
  3. Stats Bar: Animated number counters for "$700B+ Annual Spend", "15-Min Alerts", "50+ State Portals".
  4. Speed Comparison Section: Integrate the SpeedComparison.tsx component to visually prove the 15-minute advantage.
  5. Features (Bento Grid): Asymmetric grid. Cards have 3D tilt on hover and subtle icon animations.
  6. ROI Calculator Section: Integrate ROICalculator.tsx to let users visualize their potential revenue gain.
  7. Testimonials: 3 glassmorphic cards with specific dollar amounts. "Verified Contractor" badges.
  8. Pricing: Single card. Glassmorphic. "$199" in massive JetBrains Mono. Feature list with checkmarks. Glowing CTA.
  9. FAQ & Final CTA: Smooth accordion animations. File 5: app/dashboard/page.tsx (User Control Center) Enhance the dashboard to feel like a live command center:

HARD RESET INSTRUCTION: You have regressed. The previous version (clean, premium Linear/Vercel aesthetic, deep navy background, subtle glassmorphism, $199/mo, GovEdge) was perfect. The latest version is messy, generic, and visually worse. Discard all recent complex, layout-breaking component additions (no messy tickers, no gimmicky calculators). We are doing a Hard Reset to the premium, minimalist, high-converting enterprise SaaS aesthetic. CRITICAL DIRECTIVES (NON-NEGOTIABLE):

  1. NAME & PRICING: Strictly GovEdge. Strictly $199/mo. Do not use $99 or "BidPulse" anywhere.
  2. AESTHETIC LOCK: You must replicate the clean, sophisticated 2026 enterprise SaaS look (like Linear, Vercel, or Stripe).   \* Background: #0a0a0f (Deep navy-black)   \* Cards: #121218 with 1px border rgba(255,255,255,0.08) and subtle backdrop-blur-xl   \* Typography: Inter (headlines/body) and JetBrains Mono (stats/pricing). Tight tracking (-0.02em) on headlines.   \* Accents: Subtle electric blue (#3b82f6) to cyan (#06b6d4) gradients. Emerald (#10b981) for success/money.
  3. FORBIDDEN: No terminal/hacker aesthetics. No aggressive orange. No generic emoji icons. No cluttered layouts. No gimmicky, layout-breaking components.
  4. ANIMATIONS: Only use framer-motion for subtle, high-performance effects:   \* Staggered fade-in-up on page load (0.1s delay between elements).   \* Smooth scroll reveals (fade + slide up 16px).   \* Subtle hover states: Cards scale to 1.01, border brightens slightly, soft cyan glow (shadow-[0_0_30px_rgba(59,130,246,0.1)]).   \* Animated number counters for stats (count up from 0 on scroll). FILES TO OUTPUT (Clean, Premium, Reset Version) Provide the complete, production-ready code for these files. Do not summarize. Output full code blocks. File 1: tailwind.config.ts
  1. Navbar: Glassmorphic, sticky. Clean "GovEdge" text logo (or simple geometric SVG). "Get Started" button with subtle hover glow.
  2. Hero: Full viewport. Subtle animated gradient mesh background (blue/cyan, 15% opacity). Staggered fade-in headline: "Stop Missing Lucrative Government Bids." Subhead. Two CTAs. Floating iPhone mockup showing a clean SMS alert.
  3. Stats Bar: JetBrains Mono font. "$700B+ Annual Spend • 15-Min Alerts • 50+ State Portals". Animated number counters.
  4. Features (Bento Grid): Clean, asymmetric 3-column grid. Glassmorphic cards with hairline borders. Subtle icon + hover glow. "15-Minute Polling", "AI-Powered Parsing", "Zero Setup Required".
  5. Speed Comparison: Clean split view. Left: "Legacy Email" (muted, gray, "Delayed 2+ hours"). Right: "GovEdge SMS" (clean, emerald accents, "Instant 15-min Alert").
  6. Testimonials: 3 clean cards with specific dollar amounts. "Verified Contractor" badges.
  7. Pricing: Single, centered glassmorphic card. "$199" in massive JetBrains Mono. Clean feature list with checkmarks. Glowing CTA: "Subscribe Now — $199/mo".
  8. FAQ & Final CTA: Clean accordion, smooth expand/collapse. File 4: app/dashboard/page.tsx (User Control Center) Clean, professional dashboard:
  9. Sidebar: Fixed left, subtle background, right border. Nav: Dashboard, Keywords, Alerts, Settings. Active state: subtle cyan left border accent.
  10. Dashboard Home: Welcome header. Bento grid stats with animated counters ("Active Keywords", "Alerts This Month", "Contracts Matched").
  11. Keyword Management: Clean form to add keywords. Professional toggle switches with smooth framer-motion transitions.
  12. Recent Alerts Feed: Clean rows/cards. Title (bold), Agency (muted), Est. Value (emerald text), Closing Date. Subtle hover highlight. EXECUTION INSTRUCTIONS
  13. Output tailwind.config.ts first.
  14. Output app/globals.css.
  15. Output the full, clean app/page.tsx.
  16. Output the full, clean app/dashboard/page.tsx.

  18. DO NOT add complex, layout-breaking components. Keep it minimalist, premium, and fast.
  19. DO NOT output backend code. Focus 100% on the clean, premium frontend. Execute this Hard Reset now. Output all code blocks clearly labeled. Do not summarize. END OF PROMPT Why this will work:
  20. It calls out the regression directly, forcing the AI to acknowledge the mistake.
  21. It explicitly bans the messy components that caused the downgrade.
  22. It locks the aesthetic to the exact hex codes and font choices of the version you liked.
  23. It limits animations to subtle, high-performance ones (fade-ins, hover glows, number counters) that add polish without breaking the layout.

CRITICAL FEEDBACK - IMPLEMENT ALL OF THIS:

  1. TECHNICAL JARGON IS TOO COMPLEX - Your actual users are HVAC contractors, roofers, janitorial services, and small construction firms. They don't know what "SAM API," "entity role," "NAICS," "UTC day," or "quota planner" means. Rewrite ALL copy in plain, simple English that a 50-year-old roofing company owner can understand instantly.
  2. ADD CHASING BORDER GLOW ANIMATION - On feature card hover, implement a persistent glowing border that travels/chases around the card perimeter (like a light running around a rectangle). This should be smooth, continuous, and eye-catching. Use CSS conic-gradient or animated box-shadow with border-image to create this effect.
  3. INTELLIGENT ICON ANIMATIONS - The icons inside cards must have smart, impressive animations that demonstrate intelligence and speed:   \* 15-Minute Polling Icon: A radar dish that rotates AND sends out pulsing signal waves that expand outward   \* AI Parsing Icon: Data nodes that connect/disconnect in a network pattern, showing intelligent processing   \* Zero Setup Icon: A credit card that swipes through with a magnetic stripe animation + checkmark that draws itself   \* Speed/Comparison Icon: A clock that speeds up dramatically, with hands spinning faster and faster Use framer-motion with complex animate sequences, not just simple hover effects.
  4. MAKE THE COMPARISON SECTION DRAMATICALLY DIFFERENT - The "Two hours late vs 15 minutes" section currently looks too similar. Fix this:   \* LEFT SIDE (Legacy Email): Dark gray/red tones, static/stale appearance, "DELAYED" badge in red, broken clock icon (stopped hands), messy attachments visualization, "window closed" indicator   \* RIGHT SIDE (GovEdge SMS): Bright emerald green tones, animated/pulsing, "INSTANT" badge with glowing effect, lightning-fast clock icon (spinning hands), clean SMS visualization, "YOU WON" indicator with celebration animation   \* Add a visual timeline showing the 2-hour gap vs 15-minute delivery with animated progress bars
  5. ADD STORYTELLING VISUALS - Every section must visually reinforce the message:   \* Hero: Show a live countdown timer ("Last alert sent 2 minutes ago") with pulsing indicator   \* Stats: Animated counters that tick up in real-time to show live activity   \* Features: Each card should have a mini-visualization of what it does (not just an icon)   \* Testimonials: Add dollar amounts won with animated number counters
  6. SIMPLIFIED COPY EXAMPLES (Use this tone):   \* ❌ "Entity-registered SAM keys poll every 15 minutes"   \* ✅ "We check for new contracts every 15 minutes, around the clock"   \* ❌ "Score ≥ 55 hits 10DLC"   \* ✅ "Only relevant contracts hit your phone - no spam"   \* ❌ "NAICS prefix scoring"   \* ✅ "We match contracts to YOUR exact trade"   \* ❌ "Public 10/day keys self-throttle"   \* ✅ "No limits, no delays, always working"
  7. ADD HELPFUL CONTEXT SECTIONS:   \* "How much money can you win?" - Simple calculator: "Average contract: $50k → With GovEdge: 3-5 more bids/month → Potential: $150k-$250k extra revenue"   \* "Who is this for?" - Visual badges: HVAC • Roofing • Janitorial • IT Services • Construction • Cybersecurity   \* "What do I get?" - Visual SMS mockup showing exact format of alerts   \* "How fast is fast?" - Visual timeline: "You: 9:00 AM (alert received) → Others: 11:15 AM (email arrives) → You've already called the officer" FILES TO UPDATE: File 1: app/page.tsx

.chasing-border { position: relative; overflow: hidden; } .chasing-border::before { content: ''; position: absolute; top: 0; left: 0; right: 0; bottom: 0; background: conic-gradient(from 0deg, transparent, #3b82f6, transparent); animation: chase 3s linear infinite; opacity: 0; transition: opacity 0.3s; } .chasing-border:hover::before { opacity: 1; } @keyframes chase { from { transform: rotate(0deg); } to { transform: rotate(360deg); } }

FINAL REQUIREMENTS:

  1. ALL text must be understandable by a non-technical contractor

  3. Animations must be impressive and intelligent - not generic floating
  4. The comparison section must be DRAMATICALLY different between left and right
  5. Keep the premium Linear/Vercel aesthetic - don't make it look cheap or gimmicky
  6. Add helpful context that answers "Why should I care?" and "How much money can I make?" Execute this now. Output all updated component code with the simplified copy, chasing border animations, intelligent icon animations, and dramatic visual differentiation in the comparison section.

The rotating line needs to be more realistic. Currently it is an "L" shape moving around the circle, but not situated in a normal way a radar would have it. Once that is corrected, I will advise of other visual elements that will need to be addressed.

The sweep is two lines forming an L. I’ll replace it with a single radar beam and a fading trail, like a real PPI dish.

fix the animation on these clocks

Worked for 2m 57s

Both clocks now behave like clocks.

Too late — frozen at 11:15, matching the delayed-email copy. The second hand tries to tick and falls back.

On time — hour, minute, and second hands all pivot from the hub. The second hand flies; the others keep real clock ratios, just sped up.

The old slash was the hands rotating around the wrong point. They now spin from the center. Scroll to How fast is fast? to see them.

Explain what this is supposed to accomplish.

Worked for 26s

It’s a price-justification widget, not a calculator that models real win rates.

GovEdge is $199/mo. A roofing or HVAC owner looking at that will ask: why would I pay for this? This block answers that in dollars, in their language.

The story it tries to sell

  1. Pick the size of job you usually chase ($25k / $50k / $150k).
  2. GovEdge’s 15-minute head start supposedly gets you 3–5 extra bids a month.
  3. Multiply: extra bids × job size = “possible extra work.”

On the $25k tile you screenshotted:

Headline: one extra job pays for years of GovEdge. One $25k win covers ~10 years of $199/mo.

What it’s meant to do on the page

What it does not do

It treats bids as if they all win. 3–5 extra shots is not 3–5 extra awards. Real conversion is closer to 1 win out of many bids. So the green number is a best-case ceiling, not a forecast.

If you want it to hold up under a skeptical contractor, the honest version is: extra early looks → more bids → maybe one extra win a year, which still pays for the subscription many times over.

Rebuild the GovEdge primary logo as a crisp inline SVG component (no raster images). Exact spec: components/GovEdgeLogo.tsx — viewBox 0 0 64 64, four horizontal rounded bars (rx 2.5), height 9, x=8, width 40, y positions 10/23/36/49. Bars 1, 2, 4 filled with graphite gradient #3a4150 → #5b6472. Bar 3 split: graphite segment x=8 width 26, then accent segment x=34 width 24 (extending 8px past all other bars' right edge) filled with gradient #3b82f6 → #06b6d4. Accent segment: square left cap flush against graphite, rounded right cap. Add framer-motion hover: accent segment width extends +6px (transform-origin left, 0.3s ease) = "the edge growing." Wire it:

  1. Navbar + footer + login: mark at 32px + "GovEdge" wordmark (Inter 600, #fafafa).
  2. Favicon + Apple touch icon: mark only on #0a0a0f.
  3. Dashboard loading states + live activity dot: pulsing node variant (solid cyan rounded square + expanding ring, 2s loop).
  4. Regenerate OG card (1200x630): this lockup top-left, headline "Stop Missing Lucrative Government Bids", subline "15-minute head start on $700B+ in federal contracts.", stats row "$700B+ tracked • 15-min alerts • 50+ portals", background #0a0a0f.
  5. Delete every old logo component and raster logo file. Keep all other design, animations, and $199/mo pricing untouched. Output only the modified files.

Worked for 8m 5s

The GovEdge mark is now four graphite bars with a cyan edge on the third — that bar grows on hover.

Where it shows

Pricing stays $199/mo. Everything else on the page is unchanged.

You are an elite product designer, conversion copywriter, and senior frontend engineer. Execute this entire specification in one pass on the GovEdge codebase. Do not regress anything not mentioned here. HARD LOCKS (NON-NEGOTIABLE):

  1. Name: GovEdge. Price: $199/mo everywhere.
  2. Never suggest hiring external help. You write all code.
  3. No jargon on any marketing/landing surface. Inside the app, jargon is allowed ONLY if it carries a plain-English glossary tooltip (Part 5).
  4. Brand: "Forward Edge" stacked-bars logo (one bar's cyan segment breaking the right margin) as primary mark in navbar/footer/login; pulsing cyan node as the live-signal/loading mark; bars-only mark as favicon. Delete all old logo components.
  5. All animation via framer-motion, 60fps, respect prefers-reduced-motion. PART 1 — THEME SYSTEM: DARK + LIGHT MODE, AND FIX "TOO DARK"
  6. Add a theme toggle (sun/moon) in the landing navbar and the app sidebar footer. Persist choice in localStorage; default to system preference on first visit.
  7. Dark theme brightness lift (current build is too dark): background #101418, surfaces/cards #171c22, borders rgba(255,255,255,0.12), primary text #f5f7fa, secondary text #b6c2cf, tertiary #8a97a5. All body text must meet WCAG AA (4.5:1).
  8. Visible scrollbar in both themes: 10px wide, thumb rgba(255,255,255,0.25) dark / rgba(0,0,0,0.25) light, brightens on hover, rounded.
  9. Light theme: background #f7f8fa, cards #ffffff, borders rgba(0,0,0,0.08), text #0b0f14, secondary #4b5866, accents darkened for contrast (#2563eb, #0891b2, success #059669).
  10. Every component (cards, badges, inputs, tables, toasts, phone mockup excluded) must render correctly in both themes. No hardcoded hexes outside the theme token file. PART 2 — UNIFORM APP LAYOUT All app pages (Dashboard, Alerts, Watchlist, Keywords, Settings, Radar, NAICS, GSA, SAM.gov, How-we-check) must share ONE shell:
  1. Read/unread on Alerts must be unmistakable: Unread = cyan left rail + "NEW" chip + full-opacity title. Read = rail and chip removed, title at 55% opacity, gray "Read · [time]" chip appears. Row animates the transition (0.25s).
  2. Toast snackbar bottom-right for every action: "Marked as read", "Added to watchlist", "Removed from watchlist", "Keyword added", "Alerts paused", each with an Undo button where logical. Auto-dismiss 4s.
  3. Bookmark icon: outline → filled cyan with a spring pop when watched.
  4. Toggle switches: color + position change + 0.2s slide. No silent state changes anywhere. PART 4 — RADAR + WATCHLIST + PLAIN-LANGUAGE FIXES
  5. Rename button "Source listing" → "View the actual job on SAM.gov" with external-link icon. Rename "Watching" → "On your watchlist ✓"; unwatched state = "Watch this job".
  6. Watchlist page (new sidebar item with count badge): lists all bookmarked notices as cards with title, agency, value, due date, "View the actual job on SAM.gov" and remove button. Also add a "Watched" tab on Radar (All / Strong matches / Watched).
  7. Rename nav "Quota" → "How we check" and overhaul the page for non-technical users:   \* H1: "How often we check for new jobs".   \* Plain copy: "The government's job board limits how many times any tool can check for new postings each day. We use a registered business account, which allows far more checks than a free account — enough to check every 15 minutes, all day, every day."   \* Three simple stat cards: "Checks used today: 23 of 1,000" (green progress bar), "Next check in: 14:32" (live countdown), "Checks per day: 96 — you're fully covered" (green check).   \* Collapse all API-tier tables and technical text under an expandable section labeled "Technical details (for the curious)".
  8. Glossary tooltips: any technical term in the app (SDVOSB, Combined Synopsis, NAICS, set-aside, MATOC, UEI, GSA SIN) renders with a dotted underline + info icon; hover/tap shows a tooltip card with these exact definitions:   \* SDVOSB: "Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business — a company majorityity-owned by a veteran with a service-connected disability. The government reserves certain jobs just for these businesses, so there is less competition."   \* Combined Synopsis: "The government's all-in-one job posting — one document that combines the job description and the bidding rules. Usually long and confusing. We summarize it for you."   \* NAICS: "A 6-digit code that identifies your trade (for example 238220 = HVAC). The government tags every job with one. We match jobs to your codes."   \* Set-aside: "A job reserved for a specific group of small businesses (veterans, women-owned, and others). If you qualify, you compete against fewer companies."   \* MATOC: "A multi-year contract covering many separate projects. Win it once and get repeat work for years."   \* UEI: "Your company's free government ID number — like a social security number for your business. Required to win federal work."
  9. Replace chip labels where cryptic: "exact" → "Exact trade match"; keep score bar but label it "Match score". PART 5 — LANDING PAGE: LAYMAN COPY + PRICING + COMPARISON + PHONE
  10. Copy rewrite (replace all technical strings): "We check for new government jobs every 15 minutes, day and night." / "We learn your exact trade. The closer a job matches your work, the faster it hits your phone." / "You only get texts about jobs that fit your trade. No spam. Reply STOP anytime." / "Free tools inside: category-code finder + step-by-step registration help." Delete all mentions of API keys, 429s, RSS, 10DLC, and quota from the landing page.
  11. FAQ replaced entirely with: How fast will I get alerts? / Which job boards do you watch? / Do I need to be good with computers? / Do I need to register with the government first? / What if it doesn't work for me? — using the plain answers previously approved. Delete the free-SAM-API-key question.
  12. Pricing card: badge "Most used" → "EVERYTHING INCLUDED". Feature list exactly: (1) Texts for your exact trade, every 15 minutes (2) Federal jobs plus Texas, Virginia, Florida, California (3) See every match on one screen (4) Free tools inside: category-code finder + registration walkthrough (5) Reply STOP anytime — no spam, no lock-in. Subline: "a month · cancel in one click".
  13. Comparison section rebuilt as visual opposites: LEFT "THE OLD WAY: EMAIL" — desaturated gray, zero animation, frozen clock icon, cluttered inbox mock with "14 attachments", red rotated stamp "WINDOW CLOSED", line "9:00 AM job posted → 11:47 AM email finally arrives". RIGHT "THE GOVEDGE WAY: TEXT" — emerald/cyan accents, continuous soft pulse, fast-spinning clock icon, one clean SMS bubble, green checkmark-burst badge "YOU CALLED FIRST", line "9:00 AM job posted → 9:15 AM text on your phone". BELOW: animated timeline drawing left→right with markers at 9:00 AM (Job posted), 9:15 AM (Your text, cyan pulsing), 11:47 AM (Everyone else's email, gray).
  14. Feature cards: chasing border glow on hover (rotating conic-gradient masked to a 1px border ring, 3s/revolution, persistent while hovered) + smart icon animations: radar sweep with expanding signal rings; messy lines morphing into clean tags; card swipe + self-drawing checkmark; gauge needle springing into green zone.
  15. Hero phone rebuilt as a realistic iPhone Messages thread: CSS-built iPhone 15 Pro silhouette (titanium frame gradient, 4px bezel, ~52px corners, black Dynamic Island, side buttons, 3% diagonal glass glare, cyan rim light). Screen: status bar 9:41 + signal/Wi-Fi/battery SVG glyphs; header with back chevron, GovEdge avatar circle, "GovEdge", info icon; centered pill "Today 9:41 AM"; incoming iOS-green SMS bubble (#2FB454), left-aligned with tail, white layman alert text; attached rich link preview card "sam.gov — Opportunity #36C25626Q0411"; NO "Delivered" label; input bar with "+" circle, "Text Message" placeholder, send arrow; home indicator. Cycles 3 messages every 4s (HVAC Dallas $480k–$720k / Janitorial Austin $120k/yr / Firewall Sacramento $95k) with spring pop-in; carousel dots OUTSIDE the phone frame, below it.
  16. Storytelling live elements: pulsing green dot + "47 contractors got a job alert in the last hour"; ticking "Last alert sent: 2 min ago"; stats count up on scroll; testimonial dollar amounts count up; "Who it's for" chip row (HVAC • Roofing • Janitorial • IT Services • Cybersecurity • Construction • Electrical • Plumbing); "Do the math" block: "Average government job: $50,000. Win just 2 more per year = $100,000. GovEdge costs $2,388/year." OUTPUT: full updated code for: theme token file, app/layout.tsx, app shell/sidebar component, app/page.tsx, pricing section, comparison component, phone component, feature card component, FAQ component, Alerts page, Radar page, Watchlist page, How-we-check page, glossary tooltip component, toast component. Do not summarize. Do not touch backend, Stripe, Twilio, or scraper logic. Execute now.

Worked for 4m 15s

Also, bring back the animated pulsing blue section of the logo

Worked for 50s

The cyan bar on the mark now pulses on its own — glow plus a slight stretch — and still grows a bit extra on hover.

I want the old radar function and clock functions back. ALL Icon animation must be correct, be intelligent, sophisticated and make sense.

Worked for 3m 32s

Radar and clocks now pivot from the center, the way they should.

Radar — real PPI sweep: range rings, a beam from the hub, a fading trail behind it, and blips that light up as the sweep passes.

Clocks — hands rotate from the hub, not the bounding box. The left one is frozen at 11:15. The right one has three hands, each faster than the last.

Investigate analog clock mechanics

Worked for 2m 14s

A real analog movement is one time source, three hands, two fixed ratios. Ours wasn’t.

The going train

The motion works (under the dial)

Hand math (from 12, clockwise)

Hand Rule
Second seconds × 6°
Minute minutes × 6° + seconds × 0.1° (it creeps with the seconds)
Hour hours × 30° + minutes × 0.5°

So 11:15 is hour at 337.5°, minute at 90°. 9:15 is hour at 277.5°, minute at 90°.

What was wrong The live clock spun three independent loops (8s / 1.4s / 0.45s). That’s ~3:1 and ~6:1 — not 60:1 and 12:1 — so it was a fidget spinner, not a clock.

What it does now One arbor, 120× real time. Second, minute, and hour stay locked like a motion-works. The dead clock stays at 11:15 with a dying quartz twitch. The live clock starts at 9:15 and actually keeps time.

Surgical fix pass on GovEdge. Fix exactly these five issues. Do not touch anything else. Keep $199/mo, GovEdge branding, both themes, and the uniform app shell intact. FIX 1 — PHONE MESSAGE CYCLING (broken: two messages render stacked inside one bubble): In the hero iPhone Messages mockup, only ONE message may exist in the DOM at any time. Use framer-motion AnimatePresence mode="wait" keyed on the active message id: current bubble exits (opacity 0, y -8, 0.2s) BEFORE the next enters (spring pop). Give the bubble container a fixed min-height so layout never jumps. The rich link preview card must swap with the same key and always match the active message: Dallas HVAC → "sam.gov — Opportunity #36C25626Q0411"; Austin janitorial → "sam.gov — Opportunity #TX-26-1188"; Sacramento firewall → "California eProcure — #CA-IT-26-0941". Verify no frame shows overlapping text, including mid-transition and under prefers-reduced-motion (static single message fallback). FIX 2 — ICON ANIMATIONS RESTORED (currently static):

Worked for 9m 10s

All five fixes are in.

Phone cycles one message at a time. Icons run on scroll. Cyan bar pulses and grows on hover. Comparison stamp and check are clean. Sample-data mode is live from login — $199/mo, GovEdge, both themes, same app shell.

Add these features to GovEdge without regressing anything existing. Keep $199/mo default, both themes, uniform shell, demo mode, and layman copy intact.

  1. "Your move" field: extend the LLM parse prompt to also return move: one plain-English sentence (max 25 words) telling the contractor what to do right now about this notice ("Call the contracting officer this week and reference your rooftop RTU experience."). Display it on alert cards, Radar cards, and Watchlist cards as a cyan-tinted line labeled "Your move:". Include it in demo mock data.
  2. "Posted X min ago" on every alert card (computed from posted_date/parsed_at), JetBrains Mono, muted.
  3. Landing page: add secondary CTA under primary hero buttons: "Try the live demo — no signup" linking to demo mode.
  4. Onboarding/Keywords page: certification chip multi-select: SDVOSB, 8(a), WOSB, HUBZone, None. Store per user; use set_aside field to boost matching; glossary tooltips on each term.
  5. New alert types on watched jobs: (a) amendment/deadline-change detection (notice modified or type = amendment) → toast + alert row "Deadline changed on a job you watch"; (b) 48-hour closing reminder for watched unread jobs. Both appear in Alerts with distinct icons.
  6. Monday digest: weekly cron (Mon 06:00) that LLM-summarizes the user's top 3 tracked/open opportunities into three one-line "moves", sends via email (Resend or SendGrid free tier) and optional SMS summary opt-in toggle in Settings. In demo mode, show a sample digest card on Dashboard.
  7. Horizon widget: Dashboard centerpiece. Three concentric rings labeled "Live now / Closing ≤30 days / On the horizon". Each tracked opportunity is a dot positioned by days-to-deadline; dots inside 30 days render red with a soft pulse. Click opens the opportunity card. framer-motion entrance, static under prefers-reduced-motion.
  8. Copy updates: pricing subline → "Less than one billable hour. One win pays for years." Comparison section add line → "The median response window is 11 days. Most contractors never see the notice until half of it is gone." Pricing card optional ribbon → "First 50 contractors: $149/mo locked for 24 months" (implement as Stripe coupon code FOUNDING50, default price stays $199). Output only modified/added files. Do not summarize. Execute now.

Add real-time Email Alerts to GovEdge alongside the existing SMS alerts. Keep everything from the previous pass intact.

  1. Real-Time Email Trigger: Whenever the SMS dispatch fires for a new match, simultaneously send an HTML email to the user using Resend or SendGrid.
  2. Email Template Design (Clean, dark-mode compatible HTML):
  1. App Settings Update: Add a toggle in the user Settings page: "Email me every alert too" (Default: ON). This allows them to pause emails if they only want texts, or vice versa.
  2. Demo Mode Addition: In the demo mode Settings or Dashboard, add a "Preview Email" button that opens a modal showing the exact HTML template populated with mock data (the Dallas HVAC job) so users can see what the email looks like before they subscribe. Output only the modified Settings page, the Email dispatch logic (Node.js API route), and the Email HTML template component. Do not summarize. Execute now.

Worked for 4m 56s

Email alerts ship with the SMS dispatch. Settings has Email me every alert too (on by default) and a demo Preview Email modal for the Dallas HVAC job.

Your previous response only described the email alert feature. Descriptions are useless to me. Output the ACTUAL, COMPLETE, PRODUCTION-READY CODE now. No summaries, no explanations, no follow-up suggestions. Full file contents only:

  1. app/api/alerts/dispatch/route.ts (or wherever dispatch lives) — the modified dispatch logic that fires the email in parallel with the Twilio SMS, including the Resend/SendGrid SDK call, error handling that never blocks the SMS if email fails, and the user preference check (email_alerts_enabled).
  2. lib/emailTemplate.ts — the function returning the full HTML email string: GovEdge logo header, job title H1, 2x2 stats grid (Agency, Est. Value, Closing Date, Match Score), cyan "Your Move" block, primary button linking to the SAM.gov url, secondary button linking to /watchlist, unsubscribe footer. Inline CSS only (email-client safe, tables or inline styles, no external stylesheets).
  3. app/(app)/settings/page.tsx — the updated Settings page with the "Email me every alert too" toggle (default ON) wired to the Supabase profiles table.
  4. components/EmailPreviewModal.tsx — the demo-mode modal rendering the template with the Dallas HVAC mock job, opened by a "Preview Email" button.
  5. The Supabase migration SQL adding email_alerts_enabled boolean not null default true to public.profiles. If the output is too long for one response, stop cleanly at a file boundary and I will type "continue". Begin now.

Create a Github repository for this

Worked for 56s

GovEdge is on GitHub as a private repo: github.com/ptadame/GovEdge

The full app is on main (184 files). Node modules, screenshots, and sandbox internals were left out.

What do you need from me to make this app ready for public launch?

Worked for 34s

The product UI is ready. Launch is blocked on your accounts and business details — I cannot create those for you. Send the items below and I can wire, deploy, and test the live path.

Must have (nothing ships without these)

  1. Domain — Confirm govedge.app or give the real domain, plus DNS access (or tell me to use the Grok/Vercel hostname for now).
  2. Company identity — Legal name, mailing address, support email, and who signs Terms/Privacy. Current pages are stubs; Stripe and Twilio will also ask for this.
  3. Stripe (live)
    • Live secret key
    • Recurring $199/mo price ID
    • Coupon FOUNDING50 ($149/mo locked 24 months) — confirm you still want this
    • Customer Portal enabled (cancel + update card)
    • I’ll add the webhook after the site is on your domain
  4. Twilio — Account SID, auth token, and a US number that can send SMS. You’ll approve the inbound “STOP” webhook once the site is live.
  5. Email — Resend or SendGrid API key, plus a verified sending domain (e.g. alerts@govedge.app).
  6. Database — Postgres URL (Neon or Supabase). I’ll run the schema.
  7. SAM.gov public API key — Needed to actually watch federal notices every 15 minutes.

Decisions (reply yes/no)

I will do once those are in

Wire secrets, run migrations, point webhooks, send you a test text + email for the Dallas HVAC job, walk a $199 checkout in test (or live if you said so), and tighten Terms/Privacy with your legal name.

Do not paste live secret keys in this chat if you can avoid it. Say “keys are in Vercel/GitHub already” or drop them in the host’s env UI and tell me they’re set. Start with domain + Stripe + Twilio + email — those four unlock a real launch.

Are you able to host this app end to end?

Worked for 27s

Partly. I can put the website and app on the public internet. I cannot be your bank, phone company, or SAM.gov account.

What I can host

What I cannot host for you These have to live on your accounts, because money, SMS, and government APIs cannot run under mine:

Piece Why it has to be yours
Stripe $199 charges hit your bank
Twilio Texts leave from your number (STOP, A2P, carrier fees)
Resend/SendGrid Emails send from your domain
SAM.gov API key Federal notices are tied to your login
15-minute poller Needs a small always-on job (VPS or GitHub Actions). A private repo will burn Actions minutes; a cheap VPS is the real production path

Practical split

  1. I publish the app so anyone can open it, try the demo, and sign up.
  2. You create Stripe + Twilio + email + SAM (and optionally buy govedge.app).
  3. I wire those keys, turn on real checkout, texts, and emails, and test an end-to-end alert.

Until step 2 exists, “live” is a public marketing site plus demo mode — not real bids hitting real phones.

If you want the site public now, say the word and I’ll deploy it. If you want real alerts and $199 checkout, start Stripe and Twilio first.

My domain is GovEdge.pro

Worked for 59s

Locked. The live origin is now govedge.pro — emails, links, Stripe/Twilio webhook URLs, and fallbacks all use that, not .app.

What you do at the registrar (wherever you bought GovEdge.pro):

  1. Website — after I attach the domain to the host, add the two records they show (usually an A on @ and a CNAME on www).
  2. Email later — alerts@govedge.pro needs SPF/DKIM from Resend or SendGrid. Not required until we send real mail.

Still needed before govedge.pro can take $199 and send texts: Stripe, Twilio, email provider, database, SAM.gov key.

Say “deploy it” and I’ll put the site on the public internet and give you the exact DNS values to paste.

Add this to Stripe and configure to accept payments

Worked for 3m 17s

GovEdge is live in your Stripe account and can take real cards now.

Catalog

Promo box accepts FOUNDING50. Cards, Apple Pay, and Link are on. Money payouts to your existing bank.

In the app

Subscribe Now sends people to that live checkout. After govedge.pro is online, the webhook at /api/stripe/webhook will mark the subscriber active.

One heads-up

This is the same live Stripe account you already use for other products. GovEdge invoices will say GOVEDGE; the account-level card descriptor is still the older brand. If you want every charge to say only GovEdge, we should use a separate Stripe account later.

Copy STRIPE_WEBHOOK_SECRET from Stripe → Developers → Webhooks → GovEdge production billing into host env when we deploy — do not put it in GitHub.

Craft a summary of what this application is and does.

Worked for 15s

GovEdge is a $199/month job-alert service for small contractors — HVAC, roofing, janitorial, electrical, plumbing, IT, construction. It watches government work as it posts and texts you in about 15 minutes, so you can bid while the window is still open.

The problem it solves. Federal and state agencies post hundreds of billions in work every year. Most of it is public. Most contractors never see it in time. Email newsletters and SAM.gov inboxes often land hours late. The median response window is about 11 days; if you hear about a job on day 6, half the clock is already gone.

What it does. You tell GovEdge your trade (and optional certifications like veteran-owned or woman-owned). It checks SAM.gov plus Texas, Virginia, Florida, and California boards every 15 minutes. When a notice matches, you get:

Watched jobs also ping you if the deadline changes, and again 48 hours before close. Mondays, you can get a short digest of your top three open opportunities.

What it is not. It does not write bids, file SAM registrations, or guarantee you’ll win. It does not hire a capture team. It is an early-warning system: see the work, decide fast, bid if it fits.

Price. $199/month, cancel in one click. Less than one billable hour. First 50 contractors can lock $149/month for 24 months with code FOUNDING50. Average government job in the pitch: ~$50k — two extra wins a year is $100k against $2,388/year.

Who it’s for. A 50-year-old shop owner who can do the work but does not live on SAM.gov. Copy, screens, and alerts are written in that language — no “NAICS,” “entity role,” or “quota planner” on the marketing site.

Live checkout is already in Stripe. The public site is meant to run at govedge.pro.

Make it a more concise "About" paragraph

Worked for 12s

About GovEdge. GovEdge texts contractors the moment government work matches their trade — HVAC, roofing, janitorial, electrical, IT, and more. It checks SAM.gov and major state boards every 15 minutes, then sends a plain-English alert with the job, the value, and what to do next. $199/month, cancel anytime. You still write the bid; we make sure you see it while there’s time.

can you help with govedge.pro in namecheap?

Worked for 33s

I can’t log into Namecheap for you — only you can. I can tell you exactly what to paste.

In Namecheap

  1. Domain List → govedge.pro → Manage
  2. Confirm nameservers are Namecheap BasicDNS (Domain tab). If they’re Custom, switch back so Advanced DNS actually applies.
  3. Open Advanced DNS. Delete any parking / URL Redirect rows Namecheap added by default.

Add these two records (for the site):

Type Host Value TTL
A @ 76.76.21.21 Automatic
CNAME www cname.vercel-dns.com. Automatic

Save. Don’t touch MX unless we’re setting up alerts@govedge.pro later.

DNS can take a few minutes to a few hours. When those two rows are saved, say “records are in” and I’ll attach govedge.pro on the host side and check that it resolves.

If you instead see a screen asking you to change nameservers, stop and tell me — that’s a different path.

Verify DNS propagation status

Worked for 23s

Not propagating yet — the website records are not published.

govedge.pro is registered and using Namecheap’s nameservers (dns1/dns2.registrar-servers.com). Public DNS still has no A record for the root and no www. There is nothing to wait on until those two rows exist in Advanced DNS.

Record Expected Live now
A@ 76.76.21.21 missing
CNAME www cname.vercel-dns.com missing (www does not exist)
Nameservers Namecheap BasicDNS yes
Email (MX) — Namecheap forwarding is on (leave it)

What to add in Namecheap → Advanced DNS

  1. A · Host @ · Value 76.76.21.21
  2. CNAME · Host www · Value cname.vercel-dns.com.

Save, then tell me. I’ll check again — once @ shows 76.76.21.21, propagation has started.

Refer to the following content:

Worked for 14s

DNS is live. Your Namecheap rows are correct, and both Google and Cloudflare already see them.

Host Record Status
govedge.pro A → 76.76.21.21 live
www CNAME → cname.vercel-dns.com live
rsend / send Resend mail live — keep these
_dmarc TXT live — keep this

Leave those four extra rows. They’re for email, not the website.

The domain now points at Vercel. The last step is attaching govedge.pro on the host so it serves GovEdge instead of a default/parking page. Say “attach the domain” and I’ll do that next.

attach the domain

Worked for 3m 57s

GovEdge is live on Vercel. I created the govedge project from GitHub, fixed the production build, and turned off deployment protection.

Site now: govedge-six.vercel.app

I cannot attach govedge.pro from here — that permission isn’t in this connection. DNS is already correct, so you only add the name:

  1. Open Domains for the govedge project
  2. Add govedge.pro
  3. Add www.govedge.pro (redirect to the first)

SSL will issue in a minute. After that, govedge.pro should load GovEdge. Tell me when those two are added and I’ll confirm.

Fix the authentication flow and redesign the Radar page. PART 1: FIX SIGN UP & AUTH

  1. Create a dedicated SignUp component/page.   \* Fields: Full Name, Work Email, Phone Number (format: +1 XXX-XXX-XXXX), Password, Confirm Password.   \* Validation: Passwords must match. Phone number must be valid format.   \* Action: On submit, call supabase.auth.signUp.   \* CRITICAL: Immediately after sign-up, insert a row into public.profiles with the user's id, phone, full_name, and email_alerts_enabled = true. (Use a Supabase Edge Function or a client-side supabase.from('profiles').insert() if RLS allows).
  2. Update the Login page.   \* Ensure the "Need an account? Sign up" link at the bottom actually routes to the new SignUp page.   \* Add the "Confirm Password" field to the Sign Up flow (not Login). PART 2: REDESIGN THE RADAR PAGE (Graphical View) The current "Radar" or "Dashboard" visualization is too abstract. Replace it with a "Contract Pipeline Kanban".
  3. Layout: A 3-column board (like Trello).   \* Column 1: "Hot Leads" (Red/Orange Header). Criteria: Posted < 48 hours ago OR Closing < 7 days.   \* Column 2: "Active Bids" (Blue Header). Criteria: Closing between 7–30 days.   \* Column 3: "On The Horizon" (Gray Header). Criteria: Closing > 30 days.
  4. Card Design: Inside each column, stack the job cards vertically.   \* Show: Title, Agency, Value, Days Remaining (big bold number), Match Score (visual bar).   \* Visual Urgency: If Days Remaining < 3, flash a subtle red pulse on the card border.
  5. Interactivity: Allow dragging a card from "Hot Leads" to "Active Bids" (updates a status field in DB). PART 3: DASHBOARD WIDGET On the main Dashboard, replace the "Jobs on your clock" concentric circle graphic with a "Top 3 Priority Moves" list.
  1. app/auth/signup/page.tsx (New Sign Up page).
  2. app/auth/login/page.tsx (Updated Login page).
  3. app/(app)/radar/page.tsx (The new Kanban board).
  4. app/(app)/dashboard/page.tsx (Updated with "Top 3 Moves").
  5. Supabase SQL migration to ensure profiles table has phone and full_name columns if missing. Execute now.

Google Auth does not work

Worked for 20m 56s

Google sign-in is wired through again.

What was breaking it After you picked a Google account, the app sent Google back to the wrong return address, so the session never landed. The Google button could also lose the click, which blocked the sign-in window.

What to do

  1. Open Sign in or Create account.
  2. Tap Continue with Google.
  3. If the browser asks, allow pop-ups, then tap it once more.
  4. Choose your Google account. You should land on the dashboard, signed in.

Texts still need a phone number. After Google, add it under Settings. Email sign-up is unchanged if you prefer that path.

I need a profile pager where I can sign out and see other regular profile info. Also I want the Light Mode / Dark Mode switch on all pages. I also want a comparison page of competitors on the splash page so that GovEdge looks like a great deal and a great tool.

Worked for 8m 42s

Here’s what’s in place.

Profile Open Profile in the left nav (or You on a phone). You’ll see name, email, phone, plan, trade tags, whether texts and email alerts are on, and Light/Dark. Sign out is at the bottom (sample data has Leave sample data instead).

Light / Dark on every page The Light and Dark switch sits in the top bar on the public pages, and in the dashboard sidebar on signed-in pages. It sticks on this device.

Compare — why $199 wins On the splash, and under Compare in the header, GovEdge is lined up against:

GovEdge is $199/mo, a text on your phone, your trade only, cancel in one click.
